Yes, and it's the most efficient way to look after a property. A common combination is a roof clean, gutter clean and house wash on the same day.

Washing can usually go ahead in light rain. Roof treatments need a dry window, so if the forecast isn't right we'll move your booking and keep you updated.

Yes. Maidly also offers premium residential and commercial interior cleaning, window cleaning and housekeeping. Choose them in your quote request and we’ll include them.

No. Soft washing uses low pressure and a solution matched to your cladding, so paint, plaster and seals stay intact. If we spot paint that's already flaking, we'll point it out before we start.

Window frames and sills are washed and the glass is rinsed as part of the job. If you'd like a streak-free finish on the glass, add a window clean to your quote and we'll do both on the same visit.

Most Christchurch homes look their best with a wash every 12 to 24 months. Shaded walls, homes near trees and south-facing sides usually need it more often.

We use biodegradable solutions, wet down plants before and rinse them after. We ask that pets stay inside while we work and until surfaces are rinsed.

We pre-treat oil and fuel marks before washing, which lifts most fresh and moderate stains. Very old stains that have soaked deep into concrete may fade rather than disappear completely, and we'll tell you what to expect when we quote.

Not when it's done properly. We clean timber at a much lower pressure with a wider fan, working with the grain, so the surface isn't furred up or gouged.

Loose moss and mould come off during the wash. Lichen and stubborn growth can take a few weeks to fully clear as the treatment works and rain washes it off. That gradual result is normal and lasts longer than blasting.

Yes. Soft washing uses low pressure and solutions suited to coated steel, so it cleans without damaging the coating. High pressure is what causes problems on coated roofs.

Yes, but please tell us when you request a quote. We'll plan the job so your tank is disconnected during cleaning and treatment, and advise when it's safe to reconnect.

Light rain usually doesn't stop a wash, but the treatment needs a dry window to work properly. If the forecast is wrong for it, we'll reschedule with you.

Most homes need it once a year. If you have trees overhanging the roof, every six months is safer, ideally after leaves drop in autumn.

Yes. Debris is bagged and removed from your property, so there's nothing left for you to clean up.
