Why I started Maidly
It started with one mop and a simple rule.
Treat every home like it’s my own. That was the rule when I started Maidly, and it still is today.
Before Maidly, my work was in high performance coaching: helping people grow, push past their limits and become the best version of themselves. I saw again and again how much our environment shapes how we feel and how we perform. A clean, cared-for home isn’t a luxury. It gives people back time, energy and a clearer head.
I also saw something in the cleaning industry that didn’t sit right with me. It’s work that matters, done by people who are too often overlooked. I wanted to build a company where the people doing the work are invested in, trained properly and given room to grow, because a team that grows does better work.
So Maidly was never meant to be just a cleaning company. I wanted to create value beyond the service itself: excellence in the work, purpose in the business, and growth for the people in it. That’s why we use eco-friendly products, why we take health seriously, and why 10% of every booking goes to a cause we believe in. Giving back has been part of the plan from day one.
Today Maidly looks after homes inside and out, from cleaning to windows, roofs and driveways. The services have grown, but the rule hasn’t changed.
